Bear Lake: The crown jewel is Bear Lake, a large scenic lake often called "Caribbean of the Rockies" for its intense turquoise blue water. As visitors catch their first glimpse of the lake, they marvel at its color and wonder what makes the lake so blue. Sitting on one of its many white, sandy beaches, you can imagine yourself on your own little island.

Starting on Friday, August 13th, Envision Utah will kick-off the Bear Lake Valley Blueprint, a visioning effort in Rich County, Utah and Bear Lake County, Idaho.  For the Blueprint, seven regional public workshops will be held to explore how residents want the valley to develop.  For workshop details and an important survey, please go to www.BearLakeValleyBlueprint.org.
